TRAVELING TO NORMANDY
We’re so excited to welcome you to Normandy! Below are a few easy ways to make your journey smooth and stress-free.
From Paris (City Center)
If you’re already in Paris, we recommend taking the train to Normandy — it’s comfortable, scenic, and very straightforward.
To Lisieux: Take the train from Gare Saint-Lazare to Lisieux Station, then grab a taxi to your final destination.
To Deauville: Take the train from Gare Saint-Lazare directly to Deauville. From there, most hotels are within walking distance or a short taxi ride away.
Train tickets can be booked in advance online and typically take around 2–2.5 hours, depending on your route.
Driving from Paris
If you prefer flexibility, renting a car and driving to Normandy is a lovely option. The drive takes approximately 2–3 hours, depending on traffic, and allows you to explore the countryside at your own pace.
From Charles de Gaulle (CDG) Airport
If you’re arriving at CDG from abroad, we recommend renting a car at the airport and driving directly to Normandy. This is often the simplest and most efficient option after a long flight, and gives you flexibility throughout the weekend.
